Progressive lubrication system
What is a progressive lubrication system?
The progressive lubrication system is a centralised lubrication system, operating in cascade, i.e. one point after the other. It is ideal for lubricating the mechanical parts of your machine that require periodic lubrication.
How does it work?
The design consists of a pump and at least one main dispenser. If necessary, secondary dispensers can be added to the system, fed by the main dispenser, to reach all points of the machine more easily.
Progressive lubrication systems distribute oil or grease with a maximum consistency of NLGI 2. This distribution is done in predefined quantities and uniformly at all points. The flow rate is dependent on the elements of the dispenser used. It can be 25, 45, 75, 105 cubic millimetres in our smaller DPX progressives. In the DMX progressives, which are larger, we also have a wider range of dosage, reaching up to 650 cubic millimetres. With this system, the right amount of lubricant is guaranteed for each of the points to be lubricated.
The progressive distributors can have a design of 3 to 20 elements in some models, having two useful outlets in each element, so we can have up to 40 lubricated points in a single block.
The system can be easily monitored by installing a sensor to ensure that the system is working properly.
If there is a problem in any of the elements, the flow of lubricant will be interrupted and the sensor that controls the system will give us the alarm due to the lack of the signal that indicates the end of the cycle.
